Robert Post

Bob earned the rank of Second Class with Troop 364, chartered by St. Luke Lutheran Church, in New York City.  He began his adult volunteerism with Tiger Cubs, in 1982 when his son joined. He served as Cubmaster with Pack 374, chartered at Russell Elementary in Arvada, Colorado. While in Colorado, he also served as Webelos Leader, unit commissioner and Scoutmaster. 

He was recognized as Distinguished Commissioner in the Gateway District, Arvada, Colorado.   In 1991, Bob received his Commissioner’s Arrowhead and in 1993 received his Distinguished Commissioner Award in the Lone Wolf District.  He was awarded the Lone Wolf District Award of Merit in 2008.

Bob and his family are members of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Guymon and a member of the Knights of Columbus.  He is on the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross in Guymon and is on the Board of Directors for The Oaks of Mamre, a local homeless shelter.  He is currently the Director of Operations for the shelter.  He is a Navy veteran and also served 10 years in the Merchant Marine as a Boatswains Mate. 

Bob is a driver for Meals on Wheels in Guymon, serving since 2002 to present.  He has provided valuable assistance in Scouter training sessions and is an active recruiter for Scouting.  He has assisted on most of the Lone Wolf District Camporees and day camps, since moving to the area.
